Slido Tutorials for Towson University Instructors

Project Description:

The goal of this project was to design standalone Blackboard modules that provided Towson University instructors step-by-step instructions on the purpose and use of Slido, a Q&A and polling platform for live and virtual meetings. The modules were integrated into instructors' courses, enabling them to independently navigate the modules and design their own learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Blackboard modules and Slido.

  • Research real-world use cases for the product to inform instructional design.

  • Design instructional modules that clearly outline how to use Slido, incorporating relevant use cases.

Additional Guidelines from the Subject Matter Expert:

  • All recording had to be made with Panopto.

  • All modules had to be fully accessible, following ALLY accessibility indicators.

  • Reference materials had to be from Towson, Blackboard Inc., or Slido's official website.

  • Links to ensure that instructional content remains up-to-date and aligned with the correct sources.
